It means that our products are not tested on animals and do not contain animal products.
What is Whipped Buttah Fluff?

Our body butter formula is a deeply moisturizing cream made of natural butters and essential oils. It contains no water and is packed full of natural ingredients that have amazing benefits for the skin. There are no harmful chemicals or fillers. After the butters and oils are melted down they are then whipped to combine the ingredients and provide a smooth consistency. Ambre Bijou's Buttah Fluff also helps your skin and hair retain moisture while protecting it against dryness and harsh weather.
Can Ambre Bijou products be used for hair and face?

Our Whipped Buttah Fluff and Body Elixer both work great in the hair. For facial skin we recommend only using products specifically made for the face.
My products came melted. What do I do?

During hot weather, products may soften or even melt in transit as they sit in warm mail trucks and mailboxes. Although we take extra precaution in packaging your items, products still run the risk of melting. Melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery. If your buttah fluff is melted it may look as if some of the product is missing. This is because whipping shea butter increases the fluffiness by adding tiny air bubbles. Once melted, the air bubbles collapse but the volume is the same. It is now more of a balm and a little goes a long way. To harden your melted buttah fluff place it directly in the fridge. To re-whip the buttah fluff, remove it from the refrigerator once cold. Use a hand mixer to fluff it back up. All other products can be set out at room temperature to harden or placed in fridge for faster results.
Do samples come with all of the orders?

Product samples are given based on availability and do not come with every order. They are given as a complimentary gift when available.
Is the Body Elixer like a perfume oil?

Our Body Elixer is a frangranced body oil that seals in moisture and provides maximum hydration and softness to the skin. It has a mixture of beneficial, luxurious oils such as vitamin E, almond oil and jojoba oil. The Elixers smell amazing but are not considered a perfume oil as they do not have the same concentration as a perfume. Our Body Elixer can be paired with your favorite perfumes to make them last longer or worn on their own.
How long does the fragrance and products last on the skin?

Ambre Bijou products keep your skin moisturized for 24 hours, especially when paired together. The long-term effects last even longer as your skin will increase in elasticity and softness with prolonged use. The fragrance will last on the skin for at least 5 hours.
What shipping options do you provide? Can I get shipping cheaper?

Ambre Bijou only offers upgraded shipping through USPS and UPS to ensure a more enjoyable shopping experience and a decrease in delivery time. USPS Priority and UPS Ground are both equivalent in terms of price and delivery time. Both come with tracking and $100 insurance. If you would like to buy something small enough to fit in a padded envelope please contact us by email, amberchantell@ambrebijou.com. We will ship First Class for a cheaper option. Shipping is always free over $60!
Why is my tracking number not working?

Your tracking number is created once a shipping label is printed. Especially around the holidays, give the postal service a day or two to scan the package and get it into their system.
I think my package is lost or stolen. What do I do?

If you are concerned that your package is lost or stolen please contact the appropriate postal service. Once we ship your package it is no longer in our posession and only the postal provider will be able to assist you. Your shipping confirmation email contains the postal service and the tracking number. They will be able to look further into the matter and assist you in filing a claim if need be. Your shipping comes with $100 insurance.
